1. About Our Services

Kalari University provides online training in Kalaripayattu, India's traditional martial art, through recorded video lessons, live online classes, community access, and instructor-led assessments. Our services are delivered primarily through our course platform hosted on GoHighLevel (GHL) and live classes delivered via Zoom.

  • Is provided at our discretion and may be withdrawn or modified at any time

  • Does not require a payment method or subscription

  • Grants access to one lesson only — all subsequent lessons require an active paid subscription

By creating a free account, you agree to these Terms and to receiving email communications from us. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

4. Paid Subscriptions

Level progression

Level 1 and Level 2 content is included under a single subscription at the same monthly rate. Access to Level 2 content is unlocked upon passing the Level 1 assessment. No additional purchase is required to progress between levels.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to course content until your subscription period ends. We do not provide partial refunds for unused days in a billing period unless covered by our Refund Policy below.

5. Level Assessments and Certification

Assessment format

At the end of Level 1, students are required to complete a practical assessment to earn their Level 1 certification. The assessment consists of:

  • A video submission — you record yourself performing required movements from the Level 1 curriculum and submit for instructor review

  • A live Zoom session with an instructor — a short session to clarify and finalise the assessment

Assessment fees

The first assessment attempt is provided at no additional cost. If a student does not pass and wishes to attempt the assessment again, a retake fee applies. Current retake fee: 35 USD / 30 EUR / 1800 INR

Certification

Students who pass the Level 1 assessment receive a Kalari University Level 1 certificate issued digitally. This certificate confirms completion of the Level 1 curriculum and successful assessment. It is not an accredited academic qualification.

6. Live Classes

Your subscription includes access to weekly live online classes delivered via Zoom. These classes:

  • Are available to active subscribers only — access is revoked automatically upon subscription cancellation

  • Are scheduled at various times to accommodate different time zones — the current schedule is available in your student dashboard

  • May be recorded and made available as replays in your dashboard

  • Are subject to change in schedule or format with reasonable notice

We make every reasonable effort to deliver scheduled live classes. In the event a class must be cancelled, we will communicate this to students in advance and provide a make-up session where possible.
